Using of identified ship mathematical models for accident prevention of navigation

The paper contains the method of calculation of ship mathematical model parameters. The experience computation with results of full-scale experiment has been given; adequacy of numerical meanings of mathematical model calculated parameters has been estimated with the help of calculation data using known theoretical dependencies.

Problems of navigation safety of oil transportation in the Arctic shelf of Russia

The paper considers some variants of identified ship mathematical models as basis of forecasting algorithms. The algorithms have been used for forecasting of ship maneuvering when the navigator produces some definite control actions and for generating informational resources which meet the requirements of resolutions of the International Marine Organisation.

Estimation of errors of deviations from track line at vessel steering using observation of two spaced points

The deviations error estimation of two points on midship line to specified route line when using these deviations for steering has been considered in the work. It has been proposed to use an "arbitrarily" given point for calculating deviations when using these deviations for steering.
